Our Journey: From Vision to Charter
Our story is one of steady growth, strategic reinvention, and unwavering commitment to leadership development.
- 2004 – We began as the African Centre for Leadership and Human Resource Development, training ethical and competent leaders for ministry and public service.
- 2010 – We evolved into the Graduate School of Governance and Leadership (GSGL), delivering structured academic and executive programs in governance, leadership, and public policy.
- 2018 – We transitioned into Accra Business School, expanding into business, finance, and executive education while forging partnerships with world-class institutions.
- December 2024 – We received our Presidential Charter, becoming the University of Gold Coast — a multi-disciplinary Christian university with a mission to Build Leaders for the Nations.
